I saw the sun today

This may sound like a strange statement, especially since I don’t work nights or live underground. The thing is, although we’ve had a few reasonably bright days, I’ve not actually seen the sun since before Christmas. It’s been dark, or cloudy. Not today though! Hurrah for the sun!

Too many games!

It’s that time of year again. Well, actually, it’s not, which is the problem. Traditionally, there’s slim pickings for new games around this time of year. The busiest times for releasing new titles (especially big titles) is normally around Christmas and often over Easter too, but the July-October period is like release death in the UK. Except this year. As well having Bioshock released this week already, there’s fahsands more out between now and the end of November. Before the …

That’s it – my life is over

Because Bethesda have released Oblivion: Shivering Isles for the Xbox 360 today. Which supposedly adds another 30-40 hours play to the game. Of course, once I set foot in Cyrodiil again, I’ll need to play the previous expansions (like Knights of the Nine) and the remaining Dark Brotherhood and Fighters Guild quests that I haven’t yet done. Which means my 130+ hours on the game so far could well nudge 200. See you all at Christmas!
